This is not one of those articles you all are looking for. This is not about absolute joy and fun either. This is more about my inquisitiveness. About whom or what, you might ask? Well, I don’t have a clear answer to that, but in one word it would be life. This is one of the questions we all have asked ourselves at one point in our life. But, did someone ever find an answer? For me, I always wondered if the purpose is to get a degree, to be a better person, or is it actually just living? Dostoevsky thinks it’s finding something to live for. But, do we ever find a reason? Going around in university, I see many faces, some familiar, some not so known, and every face brings me to the same question: Do they know what they want? And uncertainty is often the answer I get. Well, let’s get to the answer.
I am alive to live. Living as in not just breathing but also flying—not in a purely philosophical way but more like doing what makes me happy in my life. Not always grand things, but simple ones like eating ice cream or skipping a test. I want to find something I love and fully embrace it. Some people say this is madness or carelessness. But if not this, then what is life? We don’t have to live solely for success or any other expectation. What we live for is us. What I live for is me. And I want every single person to know that living your life the way you want is not wrong, but your right—and it’s the only absolute right you ever need. So LIVE, FLY, CRAWL, even PUSH through if that’s what makes you happy.
