Kawish Alumni – Connecting Past with Present and Future

Welcome to the Kawish Alumni page, a dedicated space to honor the voices, stories, and experiences of our esteemed alumni. At Kawish, we believe that the journey of learning extends far beyond the classroom, and our alumni are living proof of the diverse paths that one can take after stepping into the professional world. This page is a gateway for our alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and an opportunity for current students to draw inspiration and guidance from those who have walked the path before them.

Here, we encourage our alumni to contribute their personal stories, professional experiences, and reflections on their journeys—spanning their past, present, and future aspirations. These stories will not only help students understand the various directions they can pursue after university but will also provide insights into navigating challenges, seizing opportunities, and cultivating a successful career.

Why Share Your Story?

As a graduate of National Textile University and a former member of the Kawish community, your story has the power to inspire and motivate current students. The alumni network is a treasure trove of knowledge and experience, and by sharing your journey, you can make a meaningful impact on the next generation. You may have gone through similar experiences as the students today—whether it’s choosing the right career path, transitioning from university life to professional life, or dealing with the fast-paced world of technology and innovation. Your perspective can help students feel more prepared for their own challenges and growth.

Your contributions are not just reflections of your past but are valuable lessons that can shape the future of many students. Whether you’ve achieved great success in your career, explored unconventional paths, or have valuable life lessons to share, your insights will provide guidance, hope, and practical advice to those still in the early stages of their professional journeys.

What to Share

We encourage you to be as creative and candid as possible with your submissions. Below are some ideas of what you can share on the Kawish Alumni page:

  1. Your Journey at NTU:
Reflect on your time at National Textile University and how it shaped you. Share your academic experiences, memorable moments with friends, challenges you faced, and how you grew through them. Describe how your time at NTU influenced your career path and the role Kawish magazine or other extracurricular activities played in your personal and professional development.

  2. Career Path & Professional Achievements:
Take us through your professional journey after leaving NTU. Talk about the jobs or roles you have taken on and how you transitioned from one position to another. Highlight any significant achievements or milestones that helped you progress in your career. What skills did you acquire, and how did your education at NTU prepare you for those roles?

  3. Challenges and Learning Opportunities:
Success is often built on overcoming challenges. Share the obstacles you faced along the way—whether they were related to your career, personal life, or adjusting to new environments. How did you deal with setbacks? What have you learned from your failures, and how did those experiences shape you into the person you are today?

  4. Your Present and Future Aspirations:
Where are you now in your career, and what are your current goals? Whether you are leading a successful team, running your own business, pursuing further education, or exploring new ventures, share your current endeavors and future aspirations. What are the challenges you foresee in the next stage of your career, and how are you preparing for them?

  5. Advice and Guidance for Current Students:
This is one of the most important sections of your contribution. Share practical advice and tips for students who are about to enter the professional world. What should they focus on during their time at NTU? What soft and hard skills are critical in today’s job market? How can they prepare for the rapid technological and industrial changes happening in the textile and design world? Additionally, provide guidance on personal growth, resilience, and mental health, as these are essential elements of long-term success.

  6. Memories of Kawish Magazine and NTU Culture:
As part of the Kawish alumni network, we would love to hear how Kawish magazine played a role in shaping your journey. Did it inspire you to write, express creativity, or engage with student activities? Share your memories of the culture at NTU, any unforgettable experiences during your time here, and how they contributed to your personal and professional growth.

How to Contribute:

To contribute to the Kawish Alumni page, simply submit your writing through our Submit Your Story section. You can include articles, essays, or personal reflections. We also encourage you to attach any relevant photographs, videos, or portfolio links to further enhance your contribution. Our editorial team will review each submission and may contact you for additional insights or clarifications to ensure that your story shines brightly on the website.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, and there are no strict word limits. However, we recommend keeping your story between 500 and 1500 words for better engagement. Additionally, feel free to share updates from time to time if there are any new developments in your career or life that you would like to highlight.

Connecting Alumni Across Generations:

The Kawish Alumni page isn’t just a platform for contributions—it’s also a community. Through this page, we aim to create connections between alumni from different graduating classes. Whether you graduated a year ago or twenty years ago, your experiences and insights are relevant and meaningful. We hope this space fosters a sense of pride, belonging, and support among our alumni, creating bridges between the past, present, and future generations of NTU students.

Your contribution to the Kawish:

Your contribution to the Kawish Alumni page is not only a way to stay connected with your alma mater but also a chance to give back to the NTU community. By sharing your story, you can inspire students to dream bigger, prepare for their professional lives with confidence, and feel more connected to the wider NTU and Kawish family.

We look forward to hearing from you and celebrating the incredible journeys of our alumni. Thank you for being a part of this vibrant and growing community.
